Roxani Chatzidimitriou, an award – winning Greek composer and pianist, presents her debut album “Chronographies” that features nine instrumental compositions. Τhese pieces draw inspiration from the synergy of three abstract, non – verbal art forms that move in time: music, contemporary dance and moving images. Through melodic lines, different instrumental colors and contemporary music techniques she creates “drawings” of choreographies and images that narrate a story. The concept of “transition” resides in each piece, as every composition could be seen as a path for self-exploration, a journey into our mind and soul, a reflective process towards a goal for transformation and personal freedom.
